July 2011
If you read this, you know it’s about you.
We’ve had some good times. Many nights just talking to each other, getting over excited over very small things.
I know we haven’t met but you mean a lot to me.
The fact you kept it up for me, makes me miss you even more. A big smile on my face arrived when I was told that.
And I know we’re still going to talk but it just won’t be the same. And you know that too. One day we shall meet. Since all those dreams I told you about, well sounds very very stalkerish but that’s how close I would have liked us to be in a few years time. And that’s why I told you, hoping that you would want that too. Yes even with the Penguins.
And now every time I hear, “I Miss You- Blink 182” along with many other songs, they will always remind me of you.
So I guess that’s all I have to say.
I miss you.
Last night was the best night of my life so far.
So last night I went and Saw Deaf Havana.
It was fucking amazing.
It wasn’t just the fact I’ve wanted to see them for about 3 years, the atmosphere was just incredible. (Apart from the odd bitch thinking you’re pushing when you’re not and tries to break your arm.) Now it wasn’t just the fact it was a birthday present or that I was a bit drunk, but just that everyone wanted to be there and have a good time (apart from the bitches).
The first band was called The First. They were amazing. Also, made out with the Guitarist, Ben. He wasn’t very drunk at the time, but soon got more and more drunk as the night went on. Poor boy got dumped that morning. Benny, the singer was just amazing. And he was the coolest hair. And then there was Tommy (from the Titans). Now we was just a legend. At the end of the concert he started walking home the wrong way, that was how drunk he was.
The main supporting act was Not Advised. Just amazing. Got pictures with all the members and got the shirt I was wearing signed. (And The First signed it) (Oh and sorry Ashleigh, I didn’t know that was your top from America.) Got the bands band, in blue. And I must say, the band are just so polite and charming. They’re one of those bands who are just so talented but they don’t know it. And their performance was just outstanding.
And then Deaf Havana came on. It was just insane. They were just amazing. And their line up was just perfect. Opened with Smiles All Round, encore was You Are Beautiful. And it was just magical. I could have cried. Unfortunately I didn’t get to meet the band but I’m sure they are lovely guys.
So thank you very much Kaitlin so giving me much an amazing birthday present. And Paddi for starting the tradition of going to concerts on my birthday.
